Privacy note
Dev Pulsebase is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and through studio enrolment. Desk: 50 Ings Lane; Deepdale; BD23 5ZA; United Kingdom. Email: info@dev-pulsebase.digital. Telephone: 077 2831 7727.
What we collect
From the public form: name, email, optional topic, and the message you write. We do not ask for dates of birth or payment cards on this site. From enrolled students we additionally keep invoicing details, cohort attendance, homework submissions, and the email used for recordings.
Why we collect it
We reply to enquiries, deliver programmes, keep accounts, and — only if you accepted analytics cookies — understand which public pages are read. Legal bases under UK GDPR: legitimate interests (answering a form you sent), contract (delivering a paid seat), legal obligation (tax records), and consent (non-essential cookies). You may withdraw cookie consent by clearing the stored choice and using the banner again, or by writing to us.
Retention
Unenrolled enquiries are kept for 18 months so we can see whether we already declined a seat. Invoices and tax records are kept for six years. Recordings of a cohort are kept for 14 months after the last session, then deleted, unless a student has purchased Reading Desk access that includes those files, in which case they follow the Desk’s six-month window. Cookie choice is stored in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and you may object to legitimate-interest processing. Write to info@dev-pulsebase.digital. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom. We will not charge for a reasonable request.
Processors and international transfers
Email and invoicing may be processed by providers in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. If a tool stores data in the United States, we rely on an adequacy decision where one exists or on standard contractual clauses plus a transfer assessment. We do not sell personal data. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; images may be requested from Unsplash or Pexels — those requests leave your browser and are governed by those providers.
Children
Programmes are aimed at working product people. We do not knowingly enrol anyone under 18.
